Sports Haus and Tempo Padel Clubs Are the First Two PCL Teams to Punch their Ticket into the America’s Cup Final
Sports Haus and Tempo have secured their spots in the highly anticipated Americas Cup Final after dominant performances in their respective conference championships at the first ever Padel Club League, by RedPADEL.
In the Houston Conference, Tempo finished first with a 10-2 record from 12 matches and 52 points, ahead of 2nd place The Woodlands Padel, 41 points and an 8-4 record.
Tempo’s captain Jerry Hazel said the competition was tough but winning the conference was a special moment. “That was the main goal. There were a lot of good Padel matches. We popped champagne right afterwards.”
Looking ahead to the America’s Cup, Hazel said he’s confident they can compete. “We know there’s going to be a lot more tougher matches in Florida, but none of us are afraid of a good Padel match.”
In the NorthEast Conference Sports Haus went 15-1 and earned 75 points. The next best team was Padel Haus on 39 points going 7-9.
“We are excited about winning our conference and being able to compete at the America’s Cup stage in January,” said Juan Arraya, Co-founder of Sports Haus and captain of the PCL team.
